Avensys have worked with Virgin Atlantic for many years from first requirements capture for many different Audio Visual projects and now manage Virgin's UK Audio Visual estate to strict SLAs, including all facilities at Heathrow, Gatwick & Manchester airports, Swansea, The Office (Head Office) and The Base national training centre.

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse

VAA commissioned Avensys to upgrade the legacy audio visual systems at their flagship Heathrow Clubhouse. The upgrade revolved around replacing all of the ageing screens in the Clubhouse to full 1080P HD screens. Our brief was to refresh the whole system, upgrading all the source equipment and displays to full HD and to replace the control system. The new control system had to be able to switch between HD sources quickly and seamlessly and control the 19 zones of audio, but at the same time be easy to use. A major part of this project was to redesign the Cinema area into a new media-wall made up of 15 x Samsung 46" Full HD Ultra-thing bezel professional displays, which in turn are divided into one 3 x 3 display, one 2 x 2 display and two single displays. Customers sitting in the viewing area select the audio for whichever screen they want to listen to on their individual listening post. Staff control all the content shown through a simple and intuitive Crestron interface.
